Rolf Skatteboe is president and CEO of Kongsberg Satellite Services AS (KSAT). KSAT is a commercial Norwegian company, providing ground station and earth observation services primarily from polar orbiting satellites. KSAT is located with its headquarters in Tromsø, Norway. The company owns and operates ground stations located at 15 different locations world wide. KSAT is operating more than 200 antenna installations at 24 locations and is supporting approximately 150 different satellite systems more than 50 000 times pr month. KSAT is immaculately located for both TT&C (Telemetri tracking & Control), launch support, as well as data reception and Near real time Earth Observation services. KSAT is also the worlds largest provider of near-real time marine monitoring services using information from SAR satellites. Rolf has been with KSATas CEO since the company was established in 2002, and before that he worked at the Norwegian space Centre for more than 10 years. At NSC he was responsible for new initiative and Space Science He holds MSc, Medical Physics and Biomedical engineering, Norwegian Institute of Technology, 1984 and a MSc, GeoPhysics, University of Saskatchewan, Canada, 1994 as well as several management courses at AFF, Norwegian University of Business and Economics. He holds various board positions.
