Om møtet:

Lecture by HanHo Lee, PhD, CTO, Beyonder AS

The lecture will be given in English.

The energy converting devices such as batteries are getting more important accordingly the society has been more evolved and sophisticated. The demands for the energy converting devices are continuously versatile as well. These days the batteries technology has focused on the requirement of the electric vehicle such as mainly energy density to increase a onetime charging driving range. One of the ways how to increase the energy density is to use the valuable transition metals like Nickel and Cobalt as cathode active material, and the safety performance has been worse accordingly using an unstable cathode material. Although the electric vehicle will contribute our reducing CO2 emission, but there are other applications such as the energy & power storage for renewable energy. However, the energy density focused current batteries for electric vehicle are not sufficient for upcoming new demand of energy & power storage. Here Beyonder, we have developed a new generation of eco-friendly and energy efficient batteries by applying non Nickel and Cobalt to cathode material as well as carbon material from sawdust. Beyonder has explored the boundary between conventional battery and capacitor, we will contribute to have better environment and society by Beyonder’s new generation batteries.

Arrangementet er gratis, og åpent for alle interesserte. Vi ønsker likevel at du melder deg på, slik at vi vet hvor mange som deltar. Påmelding via Hoopla.
