Chemistry 2019: On Odd Hassel´s shoulders

The annual Hassel event 2019 will be held from October 31st to November the 1st this year. It is 50 years since professor Odd Hassel was awarded the Nobel prize in chemistry.

31st of October

• Science library: Our scientific future and debate: Innovation at the cost of Long term basic research or room for both?
• Department of Chemistry: Exhibition opening
• Formal dinner at the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters.

1st of November

• The Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters: Scientific presentation

Participation in this programme requires registration and a fee of 350 NOK. The fee includes the formal dinner at the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters.
