The medical Ultrasound industry is one of the fastest growing and exciting growth areas in diagnostic medicine. The market is globally balanced and despite significant advances in the last twenty years, both the technology and the clinical applications are relatively immature. In this environment, GE Ultrasound has seen enormous success in the last ten years, with annual revenue growth rates averaging over 15%. 

In the presentation, key strategies behind this growth will be discussed. A major focus will be the drivers behind the creation and operation of a global, customer intimate, high technology business within a large multi-national corporation. A look at the future vision of the business as well as a recap of technology trends will also be presented.
